Blog Tour of Changed Forever by Steven Misosky – September 30th to October 14th

Book Description:
Caution! This is not another version of dystopia, or a new twist on forbidden love. There are no vampires here, either. This story is meant to engage you in another way. Two special souls have incarnated in order to help a struggling planet. They didn’t have to come, like most of us. They came out of pure love. This is their story. Follow their adventure as they first learn of their destiny. Then, go along into the realm of dreams, and learn to unravel it’s mysterious messages right along with them.
This book delves into the mysteries of life. Did you ever wonder why we dream? Do you take your subconscious for granted? Is there anything behind the superstitions surrounding the number thirteen? Why are we here? Explore the answers to these questions and more. Learning life’s mysteries will change your life.

Author Bio
In Changed Forever, I shared with you some interesting things about the number thirteen. There will be more in book two. But, do you really believe there are energy patterns like that which affect our lives? Let me tell you a few things about thirteen in my life. My name has thirteen letters. I was born in the sign of Scorpio, which is represented in tarot by Key 13. I got my first job at the age of thirteen. I worked there until I graduated from high school. I had one other job after that. Then at the age of twenty-six, thirteen years after I got my first job, I switched to a good paying job which I kept for many years. There are other significant thirteens, but this is a short bio so I’ll skip to the present. On July 13, 2012, a Friday the thirteenth, a freak accident at work broke a bone in my hand. It was bad and needed surgery. I decided it wasn’t a problem but an opportunity; time to prepare myself, and get The Dreams of Sara Knight ready for publication. Exactly one year later, on July 13, I received the edited copy of my manuscript back from my editor. I was ready to go. So, here we are in 2013 and my life course is changing again as I publish my first novel. And by the way, as I do this, I have been studying with a western mystery school for 13 years. So, you decide, is life more about patterns of energy than we normally consider? It certainly is. We are vital energy beings first, and live in an electrical universe. Someday I’ll write the whole story and share it with you.

Back Cover Copy

I hope you like the front cover. Isn’t that beautiful artwork? It’s called, The Connection. To me, it portrays the same thing as the yin-yang symbol, but in a modern, artistic, fractalized kind of way. Look at the front cover again. See how the two archetypal powers are intertwined in a beautiful swirling embrace; locked in an eternal dance with each other.
The alchemists often referred to these two divine principles as gold and silver, or the sun and moon. They were always pursuing the secret of secrets, the perfect relationship between them. One who succeeded in their art was born anew. See the new offspring being born in the picture?
This picture also depicts the inter-connectedness between the spiritual realm and the natural world. It even looks like penetration into the dream world. Can you see it?
Now, after you’ve read the book, look at it again. See if your knowledge and appreciation for this dynamic, rhythmic interchange hasn’t become more ecstatic. Beautiful art can touch the heart, so can beautiful thinking. Hopefully, The Dreams of Sara Knight will inspire beautiful thinking

“The short version is that we learn as we go. As we’re living, we are constantly learning and adapting; but this doesn’t just happen. There are complex processes going on underneath the surface, in your subconsciousness, that make it happen. It’s gathering, combining, mixing and processing all the different things you experience. All that gets mixed in with all your hopes, and dreams and everything you think and feel. It’s a massive amount of many different kinds of information that must be processed and made ready for use.
“But that’s not all; your subconscious processes things according to their level of importance. The things you do a lot are considered more important. The things you get emotional about are considered more important. So your subconscious is also prioritizing all that information for your benefit.
“And that’s not all; your subconscious experiences things beyond this physical realm. In that realm, the subtle realm, space and time are different than they are here, so your subconscious knows things beyond the time that you experience. To put it plainly, girls, your subconscious knows things before they happen here in the physical realm.” Cindy paused to give the girls a chance to speak.
Sara spoke up first. “So that’s how people can be guided by their dreams. Now I get it.”
“That’s right. Everything gets processed together, and your subconscious presents you with ideas and suggestions based on all of that. When you need an answer to a question, the answer comes from your subconscious. When you establish a certain belief, and a way of living and relating to your subconscious, you get access to things that most people are unaware of. Advanced souls, and certainly awakened ones, get that kind of help.”

"I would like to take the opportunity of this book tour to inspire people to go beyond the ordinary, therefore, here are some quotes I’d like to sprinkle along the way" (Steven Misosky):

“The more intensely we feel about an idea or goal, the more assuredly the idea, buried deep in our subconscious, will direct us along the path to its fulfillment.”-Earl Nightingale

“A dream that is not interpreted is like a letter that has not been opened.”-The Talmud

“The aim of my teaching is enlightenment, awakening from the dream state of separateness into the  reality of the One. In short, my teaching is focused on realizing what you are.”-Adyashanti

Here is my review for Changed Forever! :D

I like the cover. It isn't "quite".. there is movement in it and this is what I like. It's not similar with pastel colours but similar to a rainbow coloured pen with which the author wrote Changed Forever. :D

Wow I really can't say anything about the actually content, because it's so worth to read that I can't tell you something which you will read, when you have the book (which is currently $0.99 like it's written above and 99 pennies are the minimum of what I would spend now that I've read it). First it seems like a kind of a religious thingy, because there was written about God and what God does and doesn't. But that opinion totally turned in a other direction. Now I think that this book is a philosophical and a bit esotherical read about questions that I'm asking myself almost everyday. Now I have satisfational answers and facts I can and will think about. I just love the twins Kara and Sarah and their parents Steve and Cindy. But I also adore the twins' Granny. She's extraordinary like the twins are. ;D
The only thing I have to "admire" is, that I think the twins are too young for their journey. They are 10 years old and I think that this isn't the right age for such a big thing which changes in their lifes. Maybe 5 or 6 years older, would be perfect. It has a sense that they in that age I know, but that's the only thing I haven't understood or what I haven't liked that much so don't hate me for that.. xD

Style of Writing:
The style of writing is easy and good to follow. The things which are talked about in the book seem to be hard or difficult to read about or to question or to answer, but with this style of writing Mr. Misosky makes it easy to understand what he wants to tell. Awesome!

This book is worth a read and maybe a discussion after that. It's really awesome and I'm feeling honored that I had the chance to read it. 5 starts from me for Steven Misosky and his book Changed Forever (Even if there was the thing with the age of the twins, but that hasn't done anything bad to the story it was just my personal feeling).

  1. You're right. The age for the twins was a hard thing to decide upon. Even at ten, I think some people do the look inside to see if their interested, and think they won't relate because the characters are too young. Because of that, I know the success of this series depends on word of mouth support, and wonderful reviews like yours. Thank you so much.

  2. Loved the review. Thanks for the chance to win.
